[HQ Pixel Guide]
After discussions with related business divisions and local subsidiaries early of May,
HQ implemented pixel tagging (ID: 493623621658054) at every locales of LG.com and now on the test and detail configuration process.
Essential conversion events for Facebook marketing have been selected and tagged as following priorities:
[Global standard Conversion Events and Priority]
1st Priority: ‘Purchase’ (activated when clicking the Where-to-Buy button)
· 1st Priority event data shall be trackable together with default data set 'Page View' for 7 days' attribution period even though iOS14 users do not agree with Facebook user data transaction policy; i.e. Opt-out user status.
· For a couple of locales, responsible subsidiaries are changing ’Purchase event definition from Where-to-Buy to Purchase-complete, according to their specific campaign needs.
2nd Priority: ‘Add to Cart’ (activated when clicking the ATC button)
3rd Priority: ‘View Content’ (activated when loading the PDP page)
Priority can be changed according to company-wise agreement (change by locale sites is not possible technically)
but frequent change will not be recommendable due to long lead time in Facebook system update.
[Current status of HQ pixel conversion events]
* Other than the above three priority events, ‘Page View’ will be trackable as a Facebook system default.
** One of the reasons why we restrict to above three out of max. 8 conversion events globally applicable is to keep LG.com data protection policy which prevent from potential abusing and/or leakage of LGE bigdata assets.
*** HQ pixel tagging in extraordinary sites such as microsites and brand stores is out of scope.
If any subsidiary or business division needs to implement event pixel on those sites, please proceed pixel tagging according to Facebook Pixel Tagging Guide as in below:
Facebook Help Center:

Under hereby circumstances, HQ is currently working on the LG.com domain verification and HQ pixel access sharing to all required Facebook business IDs of each subsidiaries’/business divisions’ accounts.
Thus please send us all Facebook business IDs of your Subsidiaries/Agencies collected by business unit, so that HQ executes such process as soon as possible.
· e-Mail to James (sungbum.kim@concentrix.com) and Seowon (suna1003.choi@lge.com)
After completion of above processes in June this year,
all other local pixels except HQ’s(pixel ID: 93623621658054) shall be deleted from LG.com to support web speed optimization (~2nd week of July)
* i.e. All other local pixels other than domain-verified HQ official account’s shall be in-activated due to global Facebook system update with iOS14 release
HQ will share the conversion event pixel to local business IDs as soon as we receive your business ID.
After completion of ID partner sharing, if you find any malfunctions of those tags on your local site, please proceed troubleshooting via local CSR procedure.
If your locale site is utilizing GTM, you can easily amend the event tagging via GTM directly.
