Sometime, you need to modify or create a new dashboard to get your expected information individually. To edit published dashboard, you can do that from browser. On beside, dashboard creation will be handled from Tableau server.
Remember, dashboard can be created and updated when user has EXPLORER permission.
On the other hand, edit a dashboard requires an understanding of Tableau tools, and information can be found on the Tableau site.
1. Edit published dashboard from browser
Clicking Edit at the top of the dashboard will open the editing window.
2. Edit dashboard directly from Tableau server
Select Personal Space - New - Workbook.
After selecting the data source to use, click Connect.
